Description
Due to the heavy rainfall from clouds of TC Kajiki on Aug 26, as of the initial report, 3 bridges across the creek between villages in Tatkon, Nay Pyi Taw, collapsed and were washed away.
Four villages in Tatkon Township, namely Magyiipin, Nyaungpinthar, Chaungkhwa, and Yaytwinphyu, are flooded, and people are being evacuated to temporary shelters. Currently, over 470 people from over 130 households will be evacuated to temporary camps, and the Nay Pyi Taw DDM is will provide emergency humanitarian assistance.
