Description
On 01 March 2023, flooding incidents were reported in the Municipalities of Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, and Biliran due to the effects of the Northeast Monsoon and Shear Line.
- A total of 16 flooded areas were subsided
- One (1) toppled down electrical post was reported
- A total of 5,642 families/21,446 persons were affected in 33 barangays. Of which, 107 families/360 persons are currently taking shelter in 6 evacuation centers.
- A total of 3 roads were affected (1 not passable)
- One (1) municipality experienced power interruption (restored)
- A total of 7 seaports were affected (all operational)
- A total of 3 municipalities declared class suspension (all resumed)
- A total of 2 municipalities declared work suspension (all resumed)
